Piano Class Information
World of Music School uses the Mayron Cole Piano Method, which is written for individual or
group lessons. The first lessons focus on rhythm and keyboard familiarity before reading from
the staff. This gives the student a strong basis to develop reading skills and not to rely on finger
numbers, hand positions or colors. The Mayron Cole Method includes many original pieces of
music with a variety of styles. Classical composers are included also as the student progresses
through the series. Games and theory pages are included as integral parts of the program.
Reading from the staff is made easier with big notation.
